Let’s face it, over the past 50 years, the laws of chemistry and physics that apply to our industry have not changed. However, there have been many advancements in equipment design and technology that have improved our ability to get the job done right the first time, more consistently and more efficiently.
These improvements were usually developed through collaboration between the major gas suppliers and the equipment fabrication companies, all in the interest of offering enhanced gas products as solutions to the customers’ newest applications. So, innovations first occur in the end use application, and our industry responds by producing better gas products to match the requirements. These requirements presented many challenges to the packaged gas industry.
But let’s limit our discussion to maintaining purity. If you don’t get this part right, your success as a specialty gas producer will be difficult to realize.
