A recent collision between two trucks, one carrying high-pressured hydrogen, resulted in zero leaks from the tube trailer, despite it being struck from behind.
How? It’s because the gas tubes stayed in situ, protected by an innovative, patented trailer design developed by FIBA Technologies.
The crash highlighted the importance of innovation in making the transportation and storage of high-pressure gas safer and more efficient. The fact is that innovation must be applied right throughout a trailer’s lifespan, from a concept on the drawing board right through to extending its ability to keep being used year after year.
