The digitisation process of the gas world is constantly expanding, thanks to the increasingly widespread LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) technologies and the continuous development of more efficient batteries that allow for the creation of wireless solutions for compressed gas applications that were previously unimaginable.
Last year, Italy-based AMBRA Sistemi already announced the start of this process, by presenting the BundleTEL device for monitoring cylinder bundles and anticipating the desire to extend its resources to create an IoT (Internet of Things) solution for individual cylinders.
This project took shape in 2020, with the development of the new CylinderTEL device and marked a new era of business for the company, 20 years after it was founded in February 2000.
