The industrial gas supply chain is composed of several key parts, each posing their own respective logistical and technological challenges. Cylinder valves are devices that control the flow of gas from a pressurised cylinder. Typically equipped with a hand wheel or lever that can be turned to open or closed the valve, the device itself is usually manufactured from brass or stainless steel and is designed to withstand high pressures.
