Newly formed Texan company Hydria doesn’t want to be a one-trick pony. The business says it is very different from competing trailer manufacturers serving the compressed gases market and believes its uniqueness is already making a difference.
One notable part of the business is its lease offering. Of course, leasing isn’t a new concept, but for Hydria it represents a major investment. Bryan Kelley is President of Leasing at the company and spoke to gasworld about the proposition.
“Nobody has a lease fleet as comprehensive as ours. I’m confident about that,” he says for starters. “That’s mostly due to cost. Most companies aren’t willing to manufacture Type 4 trailers with the intent of leasing them out because of financial constraints, and that’s understandable. Hydria, however, can do that – and has fully committed to the investment.”
