Speaking to gasworld on his way back from Advanced Therapies Week in Miami, Mark Sawicki, President and CEO of the temperature-controlled supply chain solutions specialist, emphasizes the importance of operating error-free, and the work that goes into achieving that kind of perfection.
“At Cryoport, our only acceptable failure rate is zero. Not a fraction of a percent, or 1%, or 2%. It must be 0%. When you’re shipping millions of dollars’ worth of gene therapy products that are going to save lives, there is no other option. We need to save as many lives as we can, and ensure we deliver just as promised.”
