By the time you read this January edition of gasworld magazine, there will be a new individual in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Linde plc, and that person will be Sanjiv Lamba.
A Linde stalwart of 31 years, Lamba will now be responsible for the regional operating segments of the Americas, APAC, and EMEA, as well as Linde Engineering, Lincare, and certain global functions, initiatives and businesses. He will report directly to Linde CEO Steve Angel and will be based in Danbury, Connecticut (US).
Towards the end of both the year and his most recent role as Executive Vice-President of APAC, Head of Regional Business units – South & South East Asia, gasworld was delighted and honoured to welcome Lamba to be the official Opening Keynote for its first ever Virtual Event, held on 1st December 2020. It was a rare opportunity to hear from one of the biggest figures in the industry and, to some extent, pose some questions of him.
