Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, was the site of the Kaeser Compressors, Inc. Half-Day Conference. Attendees came from around the Northeast in a variety of fields related to air compression, from leaders of manufacturing concerns, to sales professionals, to local educators from a New Bedford, MA, vocational high school.
Long tables were set up with seats, breakfast and coffee served in the morning upon arrival, followed by lunch later, time left for some light networking before and after lectures by Kaeser speakers Werner Rauer, Product Manager, Screw Compressors and Wayne Perry, Technical Director, National Sales.
The morning’s introduction was by Bob Glenn, Business Development Manager for Kaeser and clearly someone not at all a stranger to hosting a crowd. Glenn presented Rauer and Perry and laid out the plan for the brief but informative conference, which would find Rauer speaking first for a presentation called “Elegant and Efficient: Compressed Air System Design,” and Perry covering “Sustainability and the Four Utilities,” in succession with periodic breaks between.
