Fabian Van Damme, Director of Dohmeyer, manufacturer of cryogenic refrigeration systems for the food processing, pharmaceutical, aeronautic, plastics and steel industries, started his career in BOC and then subsequently Air Liquide as a consequence of M&A activity.
With every role, Van Damme worked in industrial merchants or bulk gases – particularly nitrogen – and was responsible for finding new food and pharmaceutical applications.
It is perhaps little wonder, then, that he now finds himself heading up refrigeration innovator Dohmeyer. Having left his former guise in the industry out of a strong belief that he could improve cryogenic freezing machines himself, he created Dohmeyer.
