Since its founding in 1986, Chromatotec has been designing instruments for gas quality control. Family-owned Chromatotec started its journey in France, but has since launched a North American subsidiary based in Houston, which has been active since 2001, and opened an office in Beijing, China.
Today, the company’s gas and liquid analysis solutions are recognized globally, and over the years, their GC866 analyzers have been certified all over the world. The company’s latest developments are based on portable analyzers and detectors to propose on-field solutions for continuous monitoring.
Focusing on the industrial gases market, Chromatotec works with several engineering companies. Chromatotec’s MEDOR instruments are installed across the US to control gas odorization in pipeline and allow gas suppliers to adjust the level of odorants according to regulations.
