Washington-based Atlas Technologies (Atlas) supports customers globally working in research, energy, semiconductor fabrication, cryogenics, quantum technologies, medicine and aerospace.
Founded in 1993 by Richard and Jed Bothell, Atlas was initially built with a focus on vacuum technology and explosion-bonded bimetal components. The company later applied this bonding technology to CF flanges, enabling ultra-high-vacuum sealing for aluminum, titanium, and copper chambers.
Today, Atlas is a fully integrated US-based facility with on-site design, development, testing and manufacturing capabilities. Machining, welding, and assembly are completed onsite, allowing its engineers to oversee every step of the process, from design to production, guaranteeing precision and consistency throughout.
