The Compressed Gas Association, Inc. (CGA) has launched a new publication delivery system that provides enhanced access capabilities and an array of tools designed to support user interaction with CGA’s library of more than 340 industry safety publications.
Users of CGA’s new system will see substantial enhancements to their user experience as CGA takes them beyond the typical PDF document with modern features that support change management, annotations, and more.
A new era for standards access
CGA was an early adopter of digital rights management software to support the distribution of electronic standards, offering its first electronic publications for sale in 2002. Since then the technology that the Association has used to sell and secure its publications has evolved, but the end product has remained largely unchanged – a static PDF file that could be printed or downloaded by licensed users.
