Molly Burgess speaks to Burnham RNG’s Justin Hopkins about the possible benefit locked up in wastewater in the US
Wastewater treatment facilities in the US process approximately 34 billion gallons of wastewater every day. But most of these facilities today are missing out on opportunities for efficiency and sustainability, according to Justin Hopkins, Director of Corporate Development at Burnham RNG.
Burnham RNG, based in Arlington, Virginia, was founded in 2021, so it is relatively new in its wastewater treatment journey, though it is already active in five states: Illinois, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Washington, and Oklahoma.
