Thanks for taking time out with gasworld. What are we interrupting in your schedule today?
Actually my responsibilities are evolving into more marketing and sales, so this isn’t that much of an interruption. I do like to stay involved with lab work though, which is not always appreciated by everyone else. Kidding aside, I feel fortunate to have such a talented staff of scientists.
How has Consci been affected by the coronavirus pandemic – has it had a role to play in this fight for lives?
We have been affected by the virus in terms of overall volume of work. Since we are downstream of gas manufacturing while somewhat upstream of the end-users, less demand for products such as chips and flat screens means less volumes we see. The good news is that we did not need to shut down since we are in the supply chain of critical industries such as energy, aerospace, and national defence. Fortunately too, everyone here has remained in good health.
