It’s great to be interviewing an important player in the helium equipment market for this issue. Thank you for your time. For readers who may be unfamiliar with Cryonova, could tell us a bit about your company?
Cryonova, LLC was formed in 2009, but its roots can be traced to Professor Samuel Collins of MIT, the “father of practical helium liquefiers.” As founder of Cryonova, I gained expertise initially in the 1980s at Koch Process Systems/PSI/Chart in Westborough Massachusetts, and then at Linde Cryogenics in Tulsa, OK. Our company’s expertise lies in small and medium helium liquefaction and refrigeration piston expander systems, but we work on turbine liquefiers and Stirling process coolers as well.
